I was told send in my EVO for pin replacement or lose my warranty if I used something I machined. Obviously the later is the only course of action for permanent repairs, however. I can imagine Autel will not be comfortable with metallic pins due to the wiring that is in contact with the pins...

Sent mine in for replacement of the pins.... second flight after it came back... pin fell out again. Fixed it myself.

Yes, 3 km. 1.86 miles. Not that I will ever try that. Nice to be able to run out a reasonable distance and not worry about that issue.

I never tried waypoints with OA turned off.. will have to try that once and see what happens...

I would think that at a limit of 1.86 miles.... the current limit as I understand it...we are limited by the battery charge already.

Not sure. I never used the beta firmware. My tilted horizon issues seemed to have been resolved with an earlier firmware update. When I updated this last time my horizon is tilted again.

No, mine has had tilted horizon reintroduced with the latest firmware update.

I put a bright light in the gimbal area and those grey wires you see are normal... mine is exactly as yours is. Just grey wires... The protective white sleeve just doesn't go all the way in. I don't see any shiny exposed wire... just the grey ones leading back into the harness. I think...

I flew mine today and checked for the white wire near the gimbal. I do have that visible but no fraying anywhere.
