I have to give Autel a thumbs up for customer service. I was flying my bird over the water taking pictures of some sailboats and by battery was at 68% and in the flash it was down to 8% and started to land. It had happened once before but maybe I thought it was something I had done wrong. Anyway...

What you can also do is merge the pictures together and have the best of both worlds. The darker areas will become brighter and the brighter areas will become darker. Google HDR and you can get a better explanation than i can give you. It makes great pictures, more like what your eyes see.

I also have the Du-Bro prop balancer and threaded rod. Found the Autel props were very good. Was disappointed I wasn't able to balance anything :)

How often does a fly away happen? Has it ever happen to you? 1 out of every 100 flights, or 1 out of every 10,000 flights. If we use good judgement such as calibrating the compass before each flight and staying away from power lines it seems we should not have a fly away. My inquiring mind...

I ask the same question about the XSP landing gear extension and got a response back today about the XSP fitting in the case. He said you will need to loosen the screws and slide the extensions up the leg to go into the case.

Glad you were not dishearten by one bad drone! Autel is a great company. Every time I've sent them an email i have gotten a response very quickly.

Is there a way to connect my XSP to FPV goggles? I know nothing about FPV goggles but it looks like a fun way to fly. The impression I have is you can't but maybe someone and figured out a work around. Oops I guess I should have used the search first. Thanks Guy

Received the Skyreat two days ago but it has been to windy here in Denver to try them out. There is a place here in Denver called Daniels Park where you can send it clear to the Mountains which are about 15 miles away and not have a thing in the way.
