I've noticed the same thing. I had a DJI Phantom 3 last year but got rid of it after cracks in the motor mount area. I've been recently thinking about getting another but the DJI Go issues with Android devices have me looking at Autel instead.

I couldn't find the "open box" drones but did find the refurbished ones. Very tempting. My only concern would be they only have a 120 day warranty. I assume they come with all the accessories a new one would.

Well, the third party apps are not an issue for me. Then there is that nice case that comes with the Autel. And batteries are cheaper....

Thanks for the information. The cracks are discouraging. I'm forming the opinion that there is no real advantage in getting the Autel over the DJI.
