Hello and welcome. Love my Evo 1. Cant seem to wanna get rid of it even with all the new drones coming out. Its been one tough bird!

Id have to go with the Evo 2.. But i only have an Evo 1 and a P4P obsidian plus to compare. I do prefer the more simple approach with the Evo... Seems i have more time in the air less on the ground. But price wise. You may be able to grab the mavic a little cheaper. Possibly.

Ive had my Evo 1 out in 16f but like mentioned it helps to take them from a warm car maybe even set them on your dash for a sec. Not too hot. But they definitely deplete alot quicker on the cold. Be prepared and expect a much shorter flight. Fly at your own risk over water or or high too high...

On my trip, I actually came across a few fire trucks and response vehicles. I wasnt trying to be nosey but felt soemthing was wrong. There was a lady lost on a trail somewhere. I stopped and asked if i could be of help. While they were grateful. It was close to sundown and they werent too...

I dont think they will abandoned the Evo 1 like they "did" others. Its too solid. And i think theyd know people would be upset and go buy a mavic air 2 or another dji product..
