In other words....a DJI inspire 2, with a super high dollar accessory camera. Still better with a telescope.

So, in other words, and to answer the question, "can the x-star do this?" Yes...but not likely. And if so, very bothersome to do so, and a fair degree of complexity.

Exactly...unless you're prepared to fly in ATTi mode a couple feet off the pole... definitely not a mission for an inexperienced pilot.

in that case will probably either just have them tell me how high it is or look for some other object that they could only see via drone that's not difficult to see but that's also not available on google maps satellite view.
