Wow, that’s a major innovation for drones. Since you must add complex electronic contacts between lens and camera (which can get dirty), it’s gotta be pricey. I wonder if a narrower angle of view will affect image stabilization? The longer the lens, the steadier the platform needs to be... Also, very wide lenses can be easily fixed-focused on infinity, and still be in-focus on close items. A longer lens might need some form of AF to focus where you want it to be sharp, or you’d risk being out of focus if the subject is too close??
