How many of you guys hand land/catch your Autel drones?

Did you ever get any more details about this? I was expecting boat mode and can't see it anywhere. The video shows a method of catching that may be too tedious if landing on a boat. I have been having same problems (Motors will not shut down) hand landing and need this ability for when lauching and landing on a moving boat. Is the answer to simply shut off sensors when landing?
