Interesting read..............regarding DJI

The article references 'Chinese Drones'. However, it should be made clear that the US Department of Defense, as well as Homeland Security ONLY have a problem with DJI drones, and not with any other drone made in China. Therefore, while that article does also reference 'DJI', it (in fact) should only reference DJI and it should not infer that 'Chinese drones' are a part of the problem/concern.

I do work for a U.S. Federal Agency, and they ONLY use Autel drones - as they have been directed NOT to purchase or use any DJI drone. It is surprising that some police departments have purchased DJI drones, while the US Federal Government prohibits their use; not only within their agencies, but also by civilians around many/most federal installations (including installations that are not considered 'no-fly' zones).

I also have a friend who works as a contractor for the U.S. Air Force, and he has indicated that the U.S. Government has identified software in the DJI drones that can be used to collect and permanently store data (pictures, coordinates, etc) collected by those drones.

Another reason to consider Autel over their competitor.
