lynx everywhere

A shortage of rabbits this winter has caused the lynx to look for food in town. They have followed the shore line of Lake Superior and found that the city provides some nice meals of small dogs and cats.

Here it's Bobcats. My farm has a plentiful population. The rabbit, Quail, Turkey populations are reflecting that. Nature is a constant tide of ebb and flow. 6 years ago I hadn't saw a Bobcat on my farm, only a rare track siting. This past Summer a female raised three kittens in one of my timbers. She wasn't the least bit afraid of me.

Can't help but think of this every time I hear "lynx"...
