There is a bright side, they just saved about $500 dropping that tree.
We have had strong winds here and some snow. More in the forecast. Gotta love winter.

Wow! That could have been deadly, they’re so lucky. I can’t imagine the added dangers & weight from freezing rain on big trees in high winds! We had gusts to 60mph on the eastern side of the big island of Hawaii yesterday. I lost a big Ohia tree and many branches from others. Miraculously, nothing hit the house, but the yard looks like a tornado blew through...
