Some more red rocks

    I found this spot up in one of the canyons. I don't know what the wood structure was for. This is how I like to shoot videos. No editing or correcting. shoot it, add a little background music and go have breakfast while it uploads, the KISS method. :)

    Very nice, ya that wooded structure is kind of weird. Was there any mining going on out there at some time? Don't think the trees are large enough for a logging outfit. It was hard to tell but it looked like it had two spools on it?

    Great place you have to with the mountains.

    What pretty country! Great red rock formations with trees looking like they’re growing out of rock. Yea, that sure looks like remnants of a mining operation — would have been a bear to build that wood tower there though!

    The Klean Coal Company mines on Kanarra mountain used this tramway to haul coal ore down off of the mountain to Kanarraville. This is back in July of 1938.
