My bad. Brain cells notwithstanding = Center of Gravity (CG).

Not owning a set I can only go by what others have said. From anyone who has them they do in fact help with landings. They do extend out more than stock and there is no rocking chair movement with them like stock gear. Kind of like sticking a pitch fork into the ground, it stays put and don't move

Can't argue with results. Think I'll get a set, put some old screws on and find out

Well if you order some I would go with the wider ones. Scott Smith is the guy who makes these and if you have any problems with them he will replace them. He also has the gimbal guard but I have no idea if that actually works. I think you can get a combo package, might be worth checking into.
