Yes, I’m aware, and those maps are cached, it’s just that I cannot get the Autel app to upload the data. There is obviously something missing, maybe a pref. file, but I do t know enough. I can download the apk map box and see what happens.
I’ve reached out to most of the Autel FB pages. If someone has gotten maps to cache to the Explorer app, I’ll likely hear back. I will also contact Thor’s site. I know he makes mounts for the CS to the EVO rc, but I’m not sure if he ever looked at the map cache issue.
There does not seem to be a settings/accounts page. I’ve looked through all the settings. Although th CS runs on Android, it seems to be pretty tightly locked down. I’m sure it can be hacked, but I’m not an Android user with any other of my devices.
I have Maps installed. I am trying to sign into my Google account in the Maps settings. There is a page saying create an account, but it does not give me a page to allow either creating or signing in. I think this may be a DJI restriction.
It is installed and active. I think I need to enable off line caching of Google Maps but when I try to sign into my Google Account, it wont let me. I think that is the hang up. You have to download Maps via an apk download.
I also just installed Autel Explorer on a Crystalsky, but I don’t have any map data showing up. Maps are there on the DJI GO app, but not with Autel. Anyone have any ideas?
Download Reibot from Reibot.com. It will let you downgrade back to 11.1, which works with Starlink. You need to purchase a license to fully utilize the software,
You are missing my point. How many Xstar owners dowloaded the 11.2 Apple iOS, and all of a sudden couldnt reliably fly. When they contacted Autel they were told to send back their drone for inspection. They sent out RMAs, and prepaid shipping labels, and bench tested the drones. This cost Autel...
Im well aware of the issues that Apple has been having with the release of their latest ios. I'm also aware that Autel knew of the incompatibility over a month ago, after I notified them, not several days ago, as they stated. A warning not to update could have been issued back then and saved...
I honestly dont think it works that way. With millions of apps out there, Apple or any other OS developer cannot check out all those apps for compatibility. What they usually do is publish changelogs to their app developers, notifying them of the changes made to succeeding updates. I notified...
