Lots of talk about rule changes. Tighter rules for recreation flyers and commercial. Sounds like they are going to mandatory Remote ID.

I spoke with Adi at the symposium and asked him how the concept would solve the problem of unidentified UAV's in FAA controlled airspace. His reply, " I wouldn't, but you have to break eggs to make an omelet".

Touche. The path to the moon started with some VERY questionable concepts as well.

I made the pitch throughout the symposium to "keep our eye on the ball."

Action for the sake of action is rarely a solution to the problem, but it keeps everyone busy in the bee-hive bureaucracy.
