Hello from Oakland, CA -- Any SFBay Area fliers?

I've flown Nano's around the house and recently acquired a XStar Premium.

I'm looking for people in the East Bay (or anywhere near by) to help me get started. I'm a bit stymied by the FAA bits, finding a safe place to fly and not creating an orange centered hole in the ground.
