One issue is the LONG range GPS drones like XStar and phantoms. Creepers have got the hobby pinned for unwanted photos and videos. People flying over properties, doing creepy stuff. That's where the public freaks out.
I fly more FPV quads that are short range, fast and lower to the ground. Too fast to creep on people. This will suck to have this with strickter laws. I can tell you everyone that encounters me while flying wants to see them. I have an extra pair of FPV goggles that I let them "ride along". Totally changes their perspective of the "drone"! Very rarely I get someone to say stop doing this once they get a view from behind the goggle.
We who fly Long range drones need to be respectful of other privacy and property. I do and it keeps me from hearing the nay Sayers open their mouths.
