Storing Lipos in Fridge

Is it still advisable to store the Batteries in the fridge when not used for a longer time?

Cooler temps is suppose to slow down the chemical action of a lipo battery but just keeping them in a cool place like a basement works just as well. Some of the old school RC people store in the fridge but I'm not completely sold on the idea. Keeping your battery at storage voltage should be good enough.
