Switching to ATTI mode?

If the situation ever arises that I want or have to use ATTI mode, can I just flip the switch on the transmitter or does it have to be enabled in the starlink app (under the advanced tab for the aircraft menu) and have the switch flipped for it to function?

You need to enabled it in the starlink app first
