Yes I noticed it too when those videos first came out haha, but I didn't give it much thought.

We don't even know if the Mavic Air will have an actual controller or just be wifi like the spark. Not to mention if it is anything like the current Mavic then the gimbal and camera will be sub-par.

You're correct that other manufacturers use tracking. DJI as far as I am aware is the only other company to use non-GPS tracking. But, who knows if the EVO's tracking will work better/worse than DJI's, since it's software.

Nobody can answer your question of how well tracking will work since the EVO has yet to be released to the public. I'm sure Autel's engineers are working hard to perfect their tracking, but I think we'll have to wait and see reviews of the tracking on Youtube.

While I normally agree with you, this EVO will mean they are not two years behind anymore. The Mavic is only 14ish months old, hasn't even hit the two year mark. If Autel's marketing is correct (in regards to hardware, not software, since the EVO is not yet released) then the EVO is superior...

The EVO for sure, but I would wait for them to release it with a 1" sensor if they plan to release it.

Possibly, but other companies have also used this design. The GDU 02 or whatever its called is designed very similarly.
